Showing in the Conformation ring is much more than just running in a circle in front of a judge.
This class covers how to present the dog in the proper way through handling etiquette, ring patterns, gaiting and much more. It is an opportunity to learn from seasoned handlers with years of experience in a cooperative group setting.
What you will need:
1. A Properly fitting collar
2. A six-foot leash.
3. Water dish.
4. Soft treats (hot dogs or mozzarella cheese are recommended.)
5. An understanding of the Breed Standards for your dog’s breed.
Please Note- This is a Drop In Class, meaning it meets normally on Monday evenings at 6:30pm. Class cost is $8/dog/night. Since registration is not required for Drop-ins, we still ask that you contact the Center 24 hours in advance to coming to class to make sure it is meeting that night. Shot records and a Release Form are still required in order to participate.
