This class is for the teams desiring to polish their Basic Obedience skills and/or in preparation for competition in AKC trials/shows. Prerequisites for this class is completion of the beginner novice/intermediate obedience skills or instructor approval. Skills acquired in this class will be familiarization with ring etiquette, positioning skills and tips from an experienced handler. Solidifying all beginner novice and novice exercises, heel on and off leash, sit and down stays, figure eight, recall, sit and stand for exam will all be emphasized as well as integrating distractions during learning.
What you will need:
1. A Properly fitting collar
2. A six-foot leash, leather is recommended for handler comfort.
3. Water dish.
4. Soft treats (hot dogs or mozzarella cheese are recommended.)
5. Satisfactory completion of Beginner and Intermediate Obedience or Instructor Approval.
